As Jake drives towards his home, Jeff/”Amber” is deep in thought, 'that was strange... why did I say something totally different than what I meant to say,' he asks himself, 'I don't want to go to this guy's place... I just want to go home, but something is not right, my mouth does not say what my mind wants it to say... it is as if something is controlling what I am saying.'
“Amber,” Jake suddenly asks.
“Hu? What is it, Jake,” the “girl” asks.
“I asked where exactly are you from,” Jake says.
“Oh... sorry, I kinda zoned out for a little,” she says, “I am from Baltimore,” she then lies.
“Oh... that is pretty far away,” Jake says, almost sounding disappointed, “how long will you be staying?”
“Only for a day or two,” Amber replies.
'Dammit, I got to somehow make sure she'll never leaves or at least change her plans to stay longer,' Jake thinks to himself, 'I need time to make sure she'll become mine.' Jake looks over at Amber, “you should stay a little longer,” he then suggests, “it is not worth it to visit only for two days, I bet this is the first time you visited this city, right?”
Jeff opens his mouth to say “no” but instead he says, “you are right, I'd like to stay a little longer,” she says, “I just don't know if it would be okay with Emma.”
“I bet you could work something out with Emma,” Jake says.
“I probably will,” “Amber” says, “I haven't seen a lot of this city, I'd love to see more.”
Jake smile, “would you mind if I'd show you around?”
“Not at all, Jake,” the “girl” says with a smile, “that would be really sweet of you.” Jeff does not understand what is going on, he becomes more and more confused, 'what is going on,' he asks himself, 'something does not feel right.'
After an hour of driving, Jake pulls up to a normal looking house, he stops the car and looks over to his house, seeing a silver Jeep in the drive way. “Dammit, my parents are home,” he says, “I thought they had to work longer today,” he lets out a says, he was hoping to have some alone time with Amber, to get to know her better. The teen then gets an idea, he remembers that his grandparents left them a cabin in the woods outside of the city. He turns to “Amber”, “I'd like to get to know you better, but I'd rather be alone with you,” he says, “we have a cabin in the woods, we'd have more private time there, what do you say?”
Jeff opens his mouth, trying to tell Jake to just drive him home, but instead he says “sure, I'd like to get to know you better myself.” Jeff mentally facepalms himself, 'what the hell... why can't I just say what I really want to say?”
Jake smiles, “cool, let's stop by a supermarket and get some supplies,” he says, “we could stay a few days or weeks in the cabin, sounds good?”
Amber shrugs, “sure, what ever you say, Jake,” she says.
Jake, still smiling, starts to drive away from his house, already picturing a romantic few weeks with his Amber, while Jeff becomes more and more fearful and confused while his body stays relaxed and happy.
