Bert sighed, why was he always the one who had to fix blockages in the sewer while his coworkers got to sit back and check the pressure gauges. He pinched his nose, no matter how many times he would come down here he would never get used to the smell. Bert walked along the slimy pathway that followed the river of sewage. "The blockage is just up ahead and to your right" Cackled his radio. "Thanks Jerry" Bert said. "I'm coming up to it now" Bert gasped as he rounded the corner. The pipe was filled junk. He was used to garbage people flushed down their toilets causing blockages but this was a mountain of trash. There was no way all this junk just ended up flowing down the same pipe, meaning something must have collected it. "Uhhh Jerry we have a sitiation" "Mmhmm what is it" There seems to be some sort of garbage nest down here" " A garbage nest bert? ... Bert have you been drinking on the job?" "What? No! I'm telling you something made a mountain of trash!" Just then he heard it, a chittering, quiet at first but then it got louder. "Uhhh Jerry something's down here" There was no answer. Then he smelled a horrific scent that smelt like rotting corpses being dried up in the sun. Bert fell to his knees tears filling his eyes from the stench. Then he heard clicking of claws on pavement along with the chattering drawing closer...
