Now what Damon,Lady Erressea or her two scowling elfen guards knew was that the Duke actually did had a desire for the Throne.
The Plan was simple
enough
a Witch-Anarchist the Duke had hired would lob a TF Anarchist Bomb at Damon whilst Lady Errissea's two guards were nearby
Damon would start to transform into a dragon and the
two ladies would skewer him in his heart whilst
he lay writhing and transforming.
One less Monster in the world,one less obstacle to the Throne and it
could all be blamed on the dead Witch-Anarchist
if she hung around
or a tragic mistake on the part of the Lady Erressea's guards if the Witch-Anarchist got away.
Either way the Duke figured he was one claimant closer to the Throne.
So out came the smelly ill dressed Witch-Anarchist holding a rather big TF Anarchist Bomb
fuze sputtering away
as she screamed
"Death to Tyrants" as she lobbed the thing....
