After their short discussion about Connor’s new fursona and a little about what all occurs during a pride meeting, the Ross family began to engage in different morning activities.
Kent and Diana both moved to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for themselves and Ava, as the three of them hadn’t eaten yet. Connor and Ryan, meanwhile, were still in the living room, sitting on the couch together.
“Your parents seemed to take all that pretty well,” Ryan commented, giving Connor a smile. “I won’t lie: I was honestly a bit concerned that you’d be grounded for missing your curfew and we wouldn’t be able to see each other for the rest of the weekend.”
Connor gave a slight chuckle. “Yeah, I was honestly a bit worried about that too,” he said. “I’m thankful that they were so understanding. Anyways, if you don’t mind me asking, I have another question regarding your pride.”
“Of course I don’t mind,” Ryan responded. “You can ask me as many questions as you want.”
“Well, how many people are in your pride?” Connor asked. “What are they like? Are they all males, or is there a mix of males and females?”
“Well, our pride is a modest size,” Ryan began. “I think including myself and my dad, we have about 10 or 15 members, but we might have gotten a new member or two at the last meeting.”
“Were you not at the last pride meeting?” Connor asked curiously.
“No, I wasn’t,” Ryan responded. “I had agreed to help a friend of mine with a project for school, and we ended up working a bit later than I had expected. My dad didn’t make it to that meeting either, since he was out of town on a business trip. I do know that our pride is a mix of both males and females, and two of our members are Samantha Twist and her wife, Francis.”
“Well that’s pretty neat,” Connor commented.
“Yeah, I suppose it is,” Ryan said with a slight chuckle. “But other than that, I can’t really think of much else to say about our pride other than that everyone is friendly and welcoming. You’ll fit right in, trust me.”
