There are a lot of competitions out there where an enormous amount of money can be made. Even kid’s competitions. Of course, the bar is lower for children than adults. If an adult were to compete in a kid’s competition, they’d probably be able to completely demolish their much younger and less experienced competitors.
But that’s not something parents tend to worry about when signing their kids up for competitions. After all, no adult would be able to fool everyone into thinking they’re young enough for a kid’s competition. No, parents rest assured that their child will be competing against peers, not grown adults.
That all changed, however, when two friends (who also happened to be roommates) were visiting the mall.
