When Mike & his dad Adam got the news they both had the Monster Virus they were floored. So they got checked out. Adam was informed he was becoming an anthro grey wolf. Adam thought that was cool. Mike on the other hand got bad news. The doctor entered the room with a grim look. "So what...cough...am I becoming?" Mike asked the doctor. "Sir you're becoming an anthro great white shark." the doctor told Mike. "Really?" Mike asked surprised. "But I got bad news." the doctor said. "What's the bad news?" Mike asked worried scratching at his greying skin. "Your lungs are breaking apart. You are going full aquatic. Soon you wouldn't be able to live on land anymore." the doctor told him. "What are you saying?" Adam asked worried. "Your son will have to go live in the ocean for the rest of his life soon. He'll never be able to set foot on land again." the doctor said sadly. "So I'll be trap in the water for the rest of my life?" Mike asked scared. "Yes." the doctor answered. "No... cough cough cough..." Mike coughed in sadness. "And we better start his journey to the ocean soon." the doctor informed them. "Are there any support groups or anything for aquatics?" Adam asked hoping. "No. This change is extremely rare." the doctor answered. Mike coughed more. "We need to go now. We have a waiting water filled aquarium transport out front. It will take you to the nearest ocean." the doctor informed Mike. Mike stripped naked to reveal his already changed body. His privates were internal, he had no body hair expect for that on his head, he had no finger or toe nails, he had no bellybutton or nipples, his fingers & toes were webbed, he had a large bump right above his butt which was his developing tail & most of his skin was grey, smooth & rubbery. Mike & Adam hugged one last time & Adam patted Mike's head. This caused Mike's head to come off like a wig making him now totally bald. The doctor lead the now naked Mike out to the waiting aquarium transport. "Right up this ladder Mike." the doctor instructed him pointing to the ladder on the truck. "No. Don't call me Mike anymore. I'm just a great...cough cough cough cough...shark now..." Mike told the doctor depressed coughing hard as he ascended the ladder. Mike climbed into the tank & instantly the water felt right against his skin. He began swimming around. With that they were off. During their 4 hour trip to the ocean Mike changed more. His ears shrunk untill they were only holes on his head now. His eyes turned all black & he suddenly could see clearly underwater. His nose flatten into nostrils as his face pushed out some to a snout & his teeth grew sharp. His hands & feet devolved quite a bit & he grew fins on his back & arms. All his skin became grey, smooth & rubbery. Lastly his tail fully developed. The transport stopped & Mike climbed out onto the beach. The doctor tried to say something to Mike but he shook his head no. Mike walked out into the ocean & swam out some & submerged. Mike then had the worst coughing fit of his life as his gills openned & his snout fully formed. Mike coughed intill he violently threw up a few times. Then Mike felt better than he had in weeks. Mike looked at what he threw up breathing involuntary through his gills now. He was sure what he threw up was what remained of his lungs. He was right too. Mike no longer had any lungs. He life on land was over forever. He belonged to the sea now. The anthro male great shark that was Mike swam off to start his new life as a wild sea creature.
Back on the beach... The doctor sighed sadly. The virus had destroyed around person's life. He got into the aquarium transport and drove away.
