Now being a vampyre Prince Miro had absolutely no clue about the fate of the soul of the chambermaid he had so rudely
vacated from her mortal human body.
Vampires can't see human souls.
However the soul could have seen the vampyre but for the next few minutes after her body and clothing had fallen off her ectoplasmic misty form
Claire had been more caught up in the moment of there not
being a Light to step through or
the fact her corpse had gotten up again and was calling
this bleep of a vampyre "Master'
Basically the unclothed female spirit just stood there in shock
watching the humiliating horror proceed
without so much as a "By Your Leave Clare"
So it took her a while to figure out
she could see herself in the Mirror
she was nude
she could think but not feel
pinching herself meant nothing
and
she couldn't pick up the pair of scissor to try to stab herself and see if she felt pain
Basically if this was her afterlife she didn't think there'd be much of a afterlife for her
She barely noticed the vampyre named Prince Miro take off a gold chain from his neck and place it on the night table.
She did however hear his thoughts in her ghostly soul about her being a nobody and no one missing her
Clare.
So the spirit tried to pick stuff up and open the door to the hotel room and found she couldn't grasp the objects or the door knob.
It was only some time later she realized the vampyres had left the gold chain lying on the top of the night table.
So she glided over and reached out her right hand
with no luck.So she reached out with her left hand and felt a mild awakening in her emotions as the object was graspeable.
Clare was not so naive as to not know what was going on.
This was a Cursed Gold Chain and since she knew dragons and cursed gold go together like a hand in a glove
she immediately fired out what that meant
if she hung onto this cursed object she likely
would end up a western dragon herself sooner or later.
She didn't know how the Process worked
but she realized she could
either stay a emotionless dead human soul or choose
the reptillian form of Monsterhood the
Cursed Gold offered her.
So she just stood there and touched the gold links of the gold chain to her
gums and teeth
previously unfeeling misty dead anatomy
in her misty dead body.
Slowly a throbbing pain in her ectoplasmic gums began and she could feel a tearing in awakening 'stuff' as a 'thing' took root in her jaws and gums.....
