It took a few times, Jeremy had fun handling Gloria's tiny body, but Gloria got a pregnancy test that came out positive. Going to the doctor's office confirmed that she was pregnant, and through Gloria's health insurance got a special deal with the hospital's special deal on first time pregnancy buffet ticket. Jeremy may have made it so women grow tremendously throughout their pregnancy, but matter still had to come from somewhere. With the growth of the body, the baby, and the energy required to live the first pregnancy in particular often led to women eating a lot. The buffet ticket is paid through insurance and basically allows pregnant women to get into participating buffet restaurants for free during the period of pregnancy. Jeremy still had to pay, but the two figured that it worked out they both got into a buffet half off.
The first time they went to a buffet Jeremy was curious to see some of the smaller tweaks he had added. When they got their first plates Gloria had gotten a decent amount of food, and unlike the past few months her appetite was a lot bigger. When Jeremy was about halfway through his plate Gloria had finished hers, she then got up and excitedly looked at more of the bbq. As she came back Jeremy was about 3/4ths of the way through his plate and she chowed down more. It was like she was ravenous, and when Jeremy left to get some more food Gloria met him gathering more and more food. Jeremy also noticed that the pregnant lady's abdomen was being pushed out quite a bit. Jeremy smirked as one change he made was that when a woman is pregnant some chemicals are released to make the stomach a lot more stretchy. Along with appetite enhancement and women could eat a lot when pregnant for the first time. However with only so much space to shove everything in their bellies would grow and grow as their stomachs expanded. As the meal went on Gloria's walking turned into waddling, and then she just asked Jeremy to get her some more food.
As the bill was being settled Gloria patted her mouth clean as the once stick of a figure was now closer to a berry. She tried to get up herself and walk, but was finding it awkward with her gut So Jeremy swept her off her feet and carried them off to an Uber. She was in fact lighter than she was in their previous reality, but she had gained significant weight by storing a few pounds worth of food in her stomach. When they got back to the apartment Jeremy put up a large sheet of paper on the wall to take Gloria's height with a marker, and Gloria was able to rest as the stomach in her food digested.
As the two went to bed together Jeremy made sure to be cuddling as they slept. He was so excited he barely got to sleep, but he got to feel some sensations. Her feet moving down his leg a little as they grew millimeter by millimeter, and her chest went from flat with just a little bit of squish into the smallest of hills which let them have a little bit of bounce to them.
