There was once a fisherman named Devin. He was a young man who lived in a quiet fishing village. He had always enjoyed the quiet and was having a nice time just sitting on his boat and taking in the sounds of nature and he waited for a fish to take his bait.
One day, Devin was just sitting around when he suddenly heard bubbling coming from his left. His was a bit confused before something suddenly rose in the water that made his mouth drop.
Next to him was a beautiful woman. She seemed to wear nothing but a light blue seashell top that covered her large breasts. She was a fair skinned girl that had a laurel of flowers that crowned her blonde hair like a ray of light.
Devin wondered if she was a swimmer but, as if on cue, the woman lifted her body out of the water and sat on the nearby rocks - Revealing that, in place of her legs, was one long royal blue tail.
“A m-m-mermaid?!” Devil gasped. “What's a sea maiden like you doing out here? Are you going to drown me?”
The woman chuckled. "No, silly human. In fact, quite the opposite." She said as she flapped her fins and rubbed her tail on an area that would have been her vagina if she had been human.
"You see," She began. "My name is Sarah. I've been looking for a mate but I haven't found a good merman yet. Which is quite worrying, since it's mating season for merfolk this time of year."
"Oh wow…" Devin gasped in wonder. "So, there's more of you?"
Sarah nodded. "Yes. If you want, you can become a merman and have me and the others as your mates… For a price of course."
"A price? What is it?" Devin asked.
Sarah licked her lips. "Your soul."
"What?!"
"Did you not hear the fairy tale? Merpeople don't have souls. We live for 300 years and become seafoam when we die." Sarah explained.
Suddenly, a golden contract appeared in front of Devin and an inked feather appeared in his hand.
"So, what do you say?" The mermaid asked. "If you sign, you lose your human soul and legs but you'll be swimming with the fishes rather for centuries than be stuck catching them all day."
Devin gulped and considered his options.
Sarah smiled. "Will you be a fisherman, or a fish man? Make your choice. Personally, I'd love for a merman to have my babies right about now."
