Danny was getting desperate. He had spent the last few days looking around for anything that could spark his creativity,
but his usually active imagination had run completely dry.
In fact, he was getting so desperate for inspiration that he'd entered an old laundry room.
He didn't really expect to find anything that could bring him out of his slump in there.
Danny was shocked when he discovered a statue between old jockstraps and uniforms.
'This must've been here for years now, judging from the clothes around it... i wonder if anyone would miss it.'
Finding that statue finally gave him the spark he'd been looking for.
He decided that he would turn this statue into something completely different.
Danny first started off by taking pictures of the it, so that it was possible to compare it with the new statue.
He spent the next weeks working on his project, determined to make it just as life like as what he'd started off with.
Chad was aware of everything that was happening.
He didn't feel any pain, but he could see that pieces of him were being chipped off.
He tried to move, to scream, to somehow tell Danny that he wasn't just a statue, but there was nothing he could do.
Brad was pissed off.
Not only did the team manage to lose Chad, they almost screwed up his presentation.
Years of hard work almost went down the drain because of a bunch of drunk jocks.
He managed to convince the team to give him one of their reserve players for the fair, but Chad was still missing by the time it was over.
He'd have to use the, still very much untested, failsafe, to turn Chad back.
The only thing he could do now was hope that everything would work out.
Danny was finaly finished with the statue.
The weeks of had work he'd put into making it had paid off.
His statue was just as realistic as the one he'd found in the laundry room.
He took pictures of the statue, just like he's done with the original, before leaving his studio, statisfied with his work.
He felt that he deserved at least a few days of sleep after all the all-nighters he'd pulled.
Chad had gone trough various stages.
Anger at Brad, for ever inventing the statuefication device, his teammates, for loosing him and Danny for changing his body.
Panic at the thought that no one would be able to recognize him now, making it impossible to turn him back.
Despair that no one had found him, even though he'd been missing for weeks now.
And finally resignation.
He was certain that he would spend the rest of his life as a statue.
A very, very long life, considering that he'd probably stay alive as long as there was enough left of his body.
And he knew that there were some statues that had survived entire civilizations.
He didn't notice the tingling feeling spreading across his body,
until it started growing stronger, snapping him out of the daze he'd been in.
'Did Brad figure out a way to turn me back?!'
Chad noticed that he was able to move slightly.
'I'm actually turning back! He actually did it!'
He was turning back much faster than he was transformed, collapsing to the ground a few minutes later.
Chad was about to get up, when he noticed a mirror on his right.
He was shocked what he saw when he looked at it.
