You keep your cool and remind yourself that there's a good amount of hay between you and the guards, too much for them to reach you. You wait with bated breath, and sure enough, they leave the room none the wiser about your presence. Then you're alone again, surrounded by background noises. Certain that you're not getting discovered any time soon, you relax and let the tension flood out of you as exhaustion settles in.
You hope the ship reaches mainland soon, there's a terrible itch under your clothes and developing cramps in your legs. You're also feeling boredom creeping in from doing nothing in such a small closure. At least you can still distract yourself with the occasional snacks. Otherwise you'd be going stir-crazy already.
