Jen was just looking around when she suddenly had an urge she just couldn't ignore. She could sense a fish swimming near the back side if her head. It was tiny too. Before she even could react she snapped her head around and bit the fish with her now razor sharp teeth, taking half of it into her mouth and swallowing it whole. She bit again and got the rest of it. Then she realized what just happened.
"Right. Bull sharks are fish too. Maybe having random fish mannerisms isn't that great. I wish I didn't have random fish mannerisms, but instead, I have similar mannerisms to the local fish in the area who are next up to breed." Thought Jen since she couldn't speak underwater.
A rumble came and her new instincts demanded her full attention and made her dart away. But she didn't react quick enough and was caught by the large net. Due to the speed that the net and boat helwere moving, Jen was pushed back onto the fish and couldnt swim away. She was then lifted out of the water and onto the boat's deck, where the net was dropped into a holding tank and one side was let loose, releasing everything it caught into the tank, including Jen. But, not before someone saw her go into it, and called it in.
The next thing Jen knew, she was being looked at through a large glass window as the crew looked at her. The men were discussing what to do with her. All of them identified her as a exotic fish, none of them used the term mermaid or human even once. She let herself be fished out of the tank and brought on deck, where she was set down.
Jen's body quickly adapted, closing off her gills and reconnecting her lungs with her throat, allowing her to breath air again.
"Yeah, I told ya this was one of them rare adaptable fish. Apparently they can live in just about anywhere, even on land as long as they stay moist. These things are the real sources for those legends about mermaids." Said one of the crew. Jen rolled her eyes. This was the first mention of the word mermaid, and it was used to denounce the existence of mermaids.
"What do we do with it? Release it?"
"Fuck no. This baby will make us a fortune if we sell 'er to the aquarium." The main guy said.
"Good plan!" Another agreed.
"Hey, now I've have never wanted to fuck a fish before, but..."
The main man held up a hand. "Don't even think about doin' that. See this here? This is where you would be stickin' it in." He says, pointing at Jen's pussy. "See them scales? Each one o'dem are like razor blades. Dick goes in, dick stays in. The fish decides when ta let ya go, if ever."
Again Jen rolled her eyes. Her pussy was not a natural castration device. "This guy is just making shit up." Jen said to herself while folding her arms, not realizing it was said out loud. The men stared at her.
"Uh, did the fish just talk?" One of them said.
Jen looked back at them and stared at their puzzled looks. Then sighed. "And what if I did?" She said, testing to see what they would do. They took a step back out, simply of caution. All but for the main man that is. He alone was grinning ear to ear. "Oh this is perfect! A talkin' fish. And one wit' a bit a fire too. This is very interestin'. Don't suppose you got a name, Miss fish?"
"Jenny. And you, Mr. Human?"
"The name's Danny Roachman, but you can call me Captain Roach. This 'eres me ship. Ain't she pretty? She's named The Dawnside. How's about the two of us have a little chat about a, business venture, I 'ave in mind." He says, pulling over a bucket to sit on.
Jen wasn't expecting this turn of events to happen, but it sounded interesting. Plus if the worst came to happen, she could always just wish herself away to somewhere else. "Ok, what did you have in mind, Captain Roach?"
