After a seemingly car ride that last forever. Mary heard the car stop and the Jess open the door. The purse with Mary inside was lifted up and Mary held on to the cage to avoid being tossed about and hurt.
It was a few more long giant strides until the purse was set down again and the swaying stopped. Light shined in from the top as Jess opened up her purse and pulled out the cage and set it down on the table next to the it.
The table was massive, at first glance it looked like a miniature train set. But looking closer, it didn't have the train, but everything else. A pygmy forest of fake trees covered most of the area. Small ponds of water and a stream that really flowed caught the light from the bulb above. A castle stood at one end and various houses lay scattered elsewhere. The entire landscape was enclosed with walls of clear Plexiglas. It would be impossible to climb the slick surface and unlikely to build anything to get over it.
Jess took the cage and placed it in the center of a nearby forest clearing. She unlatched the top and tipped the cage on it's side. Mary tumbled out onto green, but fake, grass. A blue dress lay next to her.
"Be sure to put that dress on." Jess said for the first time since she had given Mary the vial. "You're going to pay for crossing me. I'm going to keep you here and play with you as I see fit until I feel I am avenged. Our games will consist of tasks I require you do to and for you to survive in my little playground. Basically, think of me as your Goddess. I will help or hinder you whenever and however I feel like." With that Jess took the cage out of the clearing and left.
Mary was very disconcerted, but quickly put the dress on. It was blue with a white apron. There were also leggings and shoes in white. Great, Mary thought, I'm Alice in Jess's twisted Wonderland.
