By the time Mary walked in the front door, it was almost 6pm. She was a little nervous that the smell of smoke would be noticeable on her if she lingered around, so she hoped to head straight to her room and avoid any contact.
As soon as Mary shut the door her Mum appeared behind her.
"And just where have you been all day?!" She questioned.
"Out" Mary replied, walking straight past her Mum and heading for the stairs. This wasn't a conversation she wanted before showering or changing clothes.
"Hey! If you don't come back down here and talk to me about this right now, you're not getting any dinner!" She threatened.
"That's fine!" My shouted down at her, before disappearing round the corner at the top of the stairs. Her Mother sniffed the air, something was off about the smell.
Once she was alone her room, Mary quickly stashed her contraband in the back of her wardrobe, just in case her bag was checked, then grabbed a towel and headed straight for the shower, and the shower head went straight between her legs again as she fantasised about thr day she'd just had.
Half an hour later and she was dressed and back in her room, confident her Mum was none the wiser. Mary was expecting her to walk through the door at any moment ready to resume the argument, but she didn't. The rest of the evening went by without a peep from her parents, so she wasted it all watching reality nonsense on TV.
By 10pm she was ready to pass out, and when she did, another one of her dreams happened.
