With "Pride Month" almost over, the IAC Games were finishing up their preliminaries and getting ready for the tournament proper. However, due to the recent arrival of new members, as well as other events, there were some things going on that nobody really expected, yet should have.

"Still arguing about how to divide the money?" asked an unexpected voice, which startled both the Japanese and Chinese Ambassadors. Turning, they saw a Horizon agent waiting politely at the door.
"Well, its..." began the Japanese Agent.
"... not any of my business. I just thought you ought to know, the GGAC and their guests have just arrived." finished the Horizon Agent. "But I've also heard something that would make an excellent cautionary tale about how greed can turn a large fortune into a small one."
The agent proceeded to tell about how a guy found old money in his friends house, which he was helping renovate. However, a legal dispute over how the money should be divided reached the estate of the, now deceased, business man and his descendants also wanted a piece. In the end, a judge divided the resulting money into twenty-eight, equal, shares: one for the owner of the house, one for the man who found the money, and one each for the twenty-six descendants of the original business man.
"That almost sounds like something worthy of a Chinese philosopher's tale" said the Chinese Ambassador as the Agent finished his story.
"Now I'm no expert," said the Agent, glad that his story made an impression, "but I think these coins were manufactured at a time when Japan and China were "borrowing" culture from each other, again. I also don't know if this 'Hideki Nashioka' has any descendants, but I say we should wait to divide the money until the coins are cleaned, identified, and appraised before dividing any money."
"That's sensible." said the Japanese Agent, glad that a, temporary, solution had been reached.

Meanwhile, Anderson was meeting with Molly and Shelly over their registration for UFC-A. Anderson had already made it clear that the UFC-A IAC Tournament was closed to applications, but Molly and Shelly had their own ideas for the UFC-A.
"Not that I appreciate the offer, or idea, ladies," said Anderson, looking like he was fighting off a migraine. "but I've already got internet 'weenies' suggesting ways to 'improve' the UFC-A, ranging from merely risque to downright dangerous."
"I've heard of that." said Shelly, already annoyed.
"Now I've got a suggestion," said Anderson, "How about both of you sign up for Claw Coliseum's UFC-A training program, How to Cross Claws, so history doesn't repeat itself."
"... good point." said Molly, who was blushing in shame though her new fur didn't show it.

Meanwhile, Miles was at Lyre/Animalia International Airport. He was supposed to be doing coverage of Miss Juliet's mansion and the new colony that would be built in/around her land, but his parents were doing something else. They had signed up for the "IAC Jungle Games", and were heading out to Vilcabamba. Though that didn't mean there were some laughs/embarrassment going on.
"So are you sure you got enough underwear?" asked Louise.
"Mom, you bought me enough underwear to supply a whole college dormitory." answered Miles, already feeling the embarrassment coming on.
"Have you got enough socks?" asked Louise, clearly enjoying this.
"Look, mom, I'm not going to Jupiter or anything! I'm going to France!" Exclaimed Miles in exasperation.
"So let me worry about things like that." replied Louise, "I'm your mother." Both Miles and Louise said at the same time, though Miles was more sarcastic about it.
"Just remember, if you or dad find a potential boyfriend or girlfriend in Vilcabamba, you'll have to introduce them to me." said Miles, who was aware of this kind of thing going on in couples who were different species.
