As Jeff was having his mental problems trying to retain that human identity while feeling the instincts of a sensual animal, he as much wanted to be on some help. Having listened to Madame' and her devious ramblings it seemed clear to him that her destruction was at the curx of everyone's best interests.
Hearing Madame' tell of her sister and Matt the husband, both so loving to remain as Percheron horses did not seem likely. Even his own original desire to help his friends now donkeys had been changed leaving him as yet another cursed human.
Missy, whoever she really was once and maybe too Tye and Seth the sons of Eve and Matt might all be under Madame's spell. Jeff wondered to what end Madame' needed the family farm as she had her special place inside the Pleasure Island Amusement Park.
His own struggle to keep that part of his human past, his memory of who, what, and those roots he had being the person he was, all of it might be lost if the bestial instincts prevailed and won. Jeff had such deep, deep longings to accept the simple minded manners of being and living as a common animal. The calm and easy frame of life that at its most intense moment was the drive to procreate. Otherwise his daily life would be to exist on the bounty of mother nature.
The instinctive lifestyle of accepting his beastly self was so easy to slip into. Ceasing would be the struggle to attain wealth in money and ownership. As a simple stallion the only thought of possession was those of his mare harem, and then the domination over any opposing male horses in the herd.
It was such a simple and easy thing to accept and slip into that Jeff had to struggle hour by hour to remember his human name.
Meanwhile Madame' was ready to leave but while Stephen had to wait in the vehicle she walked to the gate which stood before the barn.
Jeff plodded over to a barn window as Eve and her husband Matt turned a peering eye as well. Missy was so enthralled with her physical sensations that she stood and whinnied for Jeff to return and do her once more.
Outside the barn Madame' stood with arms raised high and was speaking her spell upon the barn's entrance. Her plan and design was to capture Eve's two sons and make them as proper offspring of a Percheron mare.
