If taking out the witch was as easy as coming with more people, then there wouldn't have been so many statues around. No, clearly attack of any kind was out.
He could try a night sabotage, maybe spill the horse potion into her drinking water or cauldron or whatever? It would be risky no doubt. But if she drank it and turned into a horse he would be the victor.
He also considered sneaking up to the cottage taking the muscle potion and then just knocking it down on top of the witch. But the witch had taken Eric. Actually, Ty hadn't spotted him yet. Where did she put him? What if he was in the hut? What if the witch had time to cast a shield before getting crushed and then came to get revenge.
And from that came another idea. A terrible idea. One with a ridiculous amount of risk. Sorhafe was currently a half elf, half frog, female ranger. That witch was a woman with magic. Why not try to have a woman to woman talk? Maybe pretend to be admiring her work and then try to strike up a conversation? Try and find Eric while they were talking and then dispose of her?
Oh god, that can't be the only option. Ty clutched his head trying to think harder for other viable options. Every option had a risk. He was just going to have to do his best on this.
Ty hopped from his hiding place and strolled up to the nearest statue as innocently as he possibly could, pretending to admire it.
He went from statue to statue, staring intently at the sexual acts depicted. Occasionally walking around it to get a view from a different angle. He was doing his utmost to not look at the witch hut. He was going to have to sell this, hard. Harder than that cock he was currently "admiring".
"What do you think you are doing?"
The voice came sudden, he must've jumped at least 2 feet into the air. He'd been so caught up he didn't even notice the witch approaching. Though technically what he wanted, he felt so naked and vulnerable now. Worse still, the voice sounded less than pleased at him being here.
He turned around and spread his froggy hands in a placating gesture as he met her piercing gaze. Somehow the witch seemed even hotter up close. Her dress almost see through. Her stern eyes bore down on Ty's diminutive form.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I was just admiring this. I'm not a very good magic user myself but being an elf I just can't help but admire a true genius in the arcane arts. These curses are exquisite." Oh god, he was going to join the statues now wasn't he? This was way to thick.
The witch cocked an eyebrow.
"You're a funny looking elf." She said without even a hint of amusement.
Maybe he should strike a pose before he gets turned to stone? "Ye...yes. I had a...mishap with some filthy alchemist. But I haven't found a way to get rid of their fake magic."
"Again, what are you doing here?"
Okay, this was perhaps going better than expected. "I..uhh saw a statue like this in the forest. I need some strong magic to get rid of what the alchemist did to me so I followed the trail. I just heard someone screaming loudly which led me directly here and then I was distracted by these wonderful statues."
"Ugh, Alchemists. Fine follow me."
