Julie saw a small golden device that really caught her eye. It was an old elegant stopwatch presumably from Sarah. It was definitely old but modern at the same time. Wait, did stopwatches exist in the past? How old was this thing? Still intrigued Julie began to check the small instrument. She didn't know why but it definitely feels magical, like something that belonged to a powerful magician or a... witch. She stopped thinking about it while she turned it over. There was an inscription written in a beautiful calligraphy, but the letters were kinda small and difficult to read, so she couldn't understand everything, something about potential side effects and warnings of its "usage".
"When you stop time you won't age. But time must be returned to... Also bad gas is common." Julie chuckled at this.
"I can't read it all.... but it's just a stopwatch. It isn't that difficult to use!" Julie said to herself
"Okay, let's give it a try."
She pushed the stopwatch's button but nothing happened. She looked around for a moment and realized that she won't notice anything in a place full of boxes and stuff. She needed to do it with moving things, like a clock, the TV or... Tom!
"Yes, if this works it'll be so much fun"
She couldn't find the little demon anywhere, he was taking a nap. She did not believe this was going to work but wanted to kill some time before going back to school work.
"There's a clock in the kitchen..." She thought before she pushed the stopwatch's button again. The clock stopped moving. She looked around and noticed a burd frozen in the air. "It works! It really works!!" She said while giggling
She then looked at her phone to read a notification from her professor.
"Sweet extra credit homework for history. The offer is available only for an hour." She was going to need it if she was going to get that B+ to an A.
Tom came down the stairs and said. "Julie what are you doing here? I'm going to play some video games in the living room. So don't bother me!" Sounding like a total prick
"Excuse me?!" Julie replied very offended. "I need to study and I have an hour for extra..."
Rolling his eyes, Tom turned around and ignored her. "Blah, blah blah... I don't care. I'm going to play!"
Julie was really pissed off. This little brat is not going to give her a chance to get those extra credits... unless... She remembered the stopwatch in her left hand and immediately pushed it. The time stopped again and Tom was immediately frozen like a statue in the middle of the living room. She was amazed of how well this thing works. Now she have all the time she wants to do her school work and nobody is going to interrupt her.
She was taking her books and laptop when she realized that she must hold the button down to kept the time stopped. That means she must work with only a hand until she's done. "Oh well." she said "It won't be easy but it won't be impossible either."
She smiled when she passed next to Tom and she gave him some slaps and even a spank. Julie felt good knowing that little shit won't be bothering her.
She turned on her laptop and continued her study.
