Working in a regular restaurant was bad enough. Talia couldn’t even imagine how miserable it would be to work in a kiddie restaurant. Talia generated a new sentence, holding her breath and praying that she could use it to change her workplace.
“The customers at the restaurant are primarily children.” Perfect. Talia changed “children” to “celebrities”. Immediately, the dining room changed from a child’s paradise to extremely upscale. Movie and TV stars sat at the tables. Talia could already feel herself getting starstruck. If she wanted to do well, she needed to change herself a bit more. She generated a new sentence.
“Talia is a mediocre waitress at a famous restaurant.” Talia scowled at her phone, insulted. She changed “mediocre” to “cocktail”. Her clothing morphed into a slinky, short, bright red cocktail dress covered in rhinestones. That was better. Eager to rub elbows with the rich and famous, she headed for her first table.
She quickly discovered, however, that the celebrities didn’t tip well and treated her worse. Sulking, she escaped to a corner and generated a new sentence on the app.
“Talia works at the restaurant.”
