"I suppose in a roundabout way turning you into a woman was a sort of punishment." Mr. Tod said his orange eyes just looking at what was once an interesting toy. He supposed now Jon was a little more interesting with this development.
"I was getting married, Steve... he he.... He cared about me enough to show me that fucking cursed video! I don't think Jon ever met him. God I swear if Ann stole him-"
"Yeah, all it took to get him was for me to overinflate Jen's breasts."
"I was not some whore! Turn me back so I can go back to my life!"
"No Jon... I'm keeping you as is so you can actually get back to YOUR life. Now if that's every-" As Tod started turning away he heard the click of a gun. Jon had got Tod's attention again and Tod asked "So you're threatening me?"
Jon said "You think I'm some idiot? You probably have changed reality so if I shot this gun at you it'd jam and blow up in my hand or something." Jon raised the gun to his head "No, my life ended when you turned me into this man who owns a gun for some reason. So I'm going to end it unless you turn me back to normal!" Tod simply stood as Jon's hand wavered.
Tod asked "So are you actually going to do it? You can hope and pray that I'll do something, but I'm not a god. So if you want to wager with me. Then you actually have to put something on the table that you can actually do." Tod then turned around, closed his front door, and then a loud bang came from the other side. Tod sighed as he opened the door, and went for his book. A small writing later he said "Aight, you actually did it. Congrats you had enough guts to pull the trigger."
"And yet I'm still fucking Jon!"
"Listen I've read Jon's story enough to know he's a lot more interesting than Jen, but if you are so interested in being Jen and marrying Steve I'll throw you a curve ball. Just go back home to your apartment and the deal should be obvious... Now leave me alone." Tod said and closed his door.
Jon was still a bit pissed he still had a dick, but this was probably as good as he was going to get. Back at his apartment Jon opened it expecting the mess his previous self had left for him. What he saw was... the mess his previous self had left for him along with a panicking naked woman. "Ah! Wait who!?! What's going on?!?" the naked woman shrieked.
"Umm.... I'm Jon and you're in my apartment." Jon noticed his hand was resting on his gun holster. Makes sense against some crazy naked intruder in your imposter I guess.
"Sorry Sorry! Umm... Wait... Jon... do you know a Jen? Like a sister or something?"
"And what's you're name?"
"It's Steve. I know it sounds crazy, but I'm usually a guy."
Jon took his hand off his gun and said "Thank god. Steve it's me Jen. I'm sorry let me explain what has happened."
one explanation later fem Steve asked "So... We're just stuck here as opposite genders... Or I guess you are in you're actual gender, but from that timeline you've spent most of your life as a woman."
"I think Tod has something in mind to get us back to normal. He said something about a deal. However we're going to need to get you a change of clothes..." Jon dug out a laptop and let Steve had it as he said "Aight, look up how to measure yourself..." as he looked elsewhere and found a tape measure. "Not going to be the most comfortable but you can just man up. I'm going to go grab some clothes from target while we figure out what's going on." Then Jon man of action left for the store while Steve was left to figure out how to measure herself as she had to get used to a very different body.
Jon jogged his way to the store, but on his way he saw a girl who was getting mugged. There was something about this that just triggered something in John that made him want to intervene. It escalated into a small fistfight, but when the mugger drew a knife Jon drew his gun which made the mugger run off. "You ok there miss?" Jon asked towards the young woman.
He heard the woman's cute voice say "I think so... That was pretty scary." she sighed and said "I kind of want to relax a bit. I'll buy dinner if you want would be the least I could do." Jon had to admit the woman was cute with her short sleek figure and her long black hair. Then Jon's phone buzzed as he checked the message he was sent.
From Sandra "It's Steve, reality kinda warped a bit and I'm not really sure where you're apartment is. Also seem to be a bit busy. Will contact when I can get time so we can meet back up."
Jon said "Well I guess it couldn't hurt."
The dinner was nice, and the woman's name was Kendra. She was sweet and Jon really liked her. They exchanged numbers and Jon seemed a bit happier. A bit of texting and he figured that he'd invite Kendra if she wanted to come to Jon and Steve's meeting tomorrow. She accepted, and Jon was unaware that the scribe was essentially asking him whether or not he wanted Steve or Jon's actual soulmate. Maybe even with a few twists along the way.
