You proudly proclaim that your first wish is for a tail. The genie regards you for a moment with an expression of bewilderment, before giving a little shrug.
"Very well, master. If that is all you desire I can certainly grant your wish. What sort of tale shall I tell?" the genie replied.
Mildly frustrated, you carefully explain your meaning. Whereas before the genie seemed merely a trifle confused, she now looks at you in amazement.
"Well, if that's what you really want I can certainly give you a tail, but... are you sure you don't want immortality or to be made ruler of the world or something like that? You might want to take some time to think these wishes out, you're only allotted three and you don't want to waste them."
Quite fed up with the sense she was making, you inform the genie that you want your tail and you want it now. With a shake of her head and her hands thrown up in surrender, the genie asks you to specify exactly what type of tail you want.
