The group that went out a week ago never returned. Their job was to investigate unpresidented plant anomalies and mutations. The company sent out a rescue party, me. Just me. Might as well call it a rescue person.
Anyways, I am basically on a suicidal mission, hurrah for me. However, I am not like the scientists. I am a warrior of countless bloody conflicts.
Within an hour I have arrived at the last known position of the search group. The air smelled foul with indescribable smells. The most pungent is like what you smell at a crazy cat ladies' house. Time for gas masks, what a relief that I prepared for everything.
I dismounted from my metal stead, an all terrain buggy. Scanning for signs of tracking devices, several were found in piles. They were busted and covered in white goop, along with other things.
Trees surrounding the area, bearing genitalia fruit that consistently dripped the same goop.
"A new comer..." You heard behind you. Quickly, you slung around battle-ready and began firing upon hostiles. Eight bodies dropped. The smoke cleared and you realized you just shot the party of people you were to rescue. Although, they weren't exactly human or animal.
The feminine voice rang out again. "I am not your enemy." The voice came from everywhere and nowhere. "Who are you? Show yourself!" You yell as you assess the situation. You slowly make it back to your buggy. The silence becoming eary.
Suddenly, tendrils come from everywhere. You blast them all with accuracy and fury. "Stop! Enough!" The voice appears. It is a distorted feline-looking thing. Four arms, four legs, a few racks of d-sized breasts, and a loincloth. "You have killed my followers for the last time" she says sinisterly.
A battle of epic proportions began...
