“Why don’t we just order stuff off Amazon?” inquired Chris as he walked through an antique store with his wife of just over 6 months, Monica. Overall Chris looked like an average man in his mid-twenties, brown hair, brown eyes, fit but not overall fit with a thin stubble of a beard. The only thing that made him stand out was that he was slightly taller than most people but not enough to make him really stand out in a crowd.
“Amazon is just full of mass-produced junk.” Said Monica as she stopped and looked at a wooden table. Like Chris Monica was average, brown hair that used to be blonde when she was little, a thin frame, with modest breasts and a fairly good ass. She was fit from years of playing volleyball both in high school and later for fun in college, but work and life was slowly stealing those muscles from her. The only thing that really made her stand out was her hair, while it was your normal brown it was naturally lush and silky smooth which she was proud about. “See take a look at this craftsmen ship.”
“I can see the craftsmen ship, but I can also see the price.” Countered Chris as Monica looked at the price tag and dropped it while backing away.
“Ok…ya, that was way too much for something like that.” Said Monica, “We need to fill a house not an apartment.”
Chris nodded as they kept walking, finally they found a few things they liked in the store. A lamp, a coffee table and a few other smaller things. When they got to their fixer up home just outside of town, they quickly unloaded the items. Once inside Chris started making dinner while Monica was playing some small items in a curio cabinet that they had gotten as a gift from her grandparents at their wedding.
“Chris do you remember getting this?” inquired Monica as she held up a small crystal which seemed to have a swirl of colors inside.
“No, but that does look interesting.” Said Chris as he took the crystal in his fingers.
“Wait…I think I see it; it is attached to this figurine here.” Said Monica as she pointed to a spot on a figurine she had picked up. “I’ll get some super glue and reattach it.”
“Alright.” Said Chris as he waited, it only took a few moments for Monica to go to the kitchen to get the glue. Once she applied the glue to the figurine, she took the crystal and pressed it back home. The moment she applied pressure the crystal broke sending a small gust of wind outwards and into the two of them.
“What was that?” inquired Chris both of them unaware what was about to happen to them.
