The both of them walked out of Dave’s house before walking the six blocks to Luke’s house. Lucky for them, nobody was currently home at Luke’s house which would make it easy for him to transform back.
As the two walked, Luke still couldn’t ignore the awkward sensation he got from turning into Dave. It just slightly bothered him to be in the body of someone he was slightly friends with. Dave however was rambling on about the medallion.
“I wonder where this originated from? Or if it’s able to do anything else?” Dave questioned as Luke rolled his eyes in annoyance.
Since it was summer, most of Luke’s neighbors had headed to the beach. However, he spotted someone familiar as the two of them approached Luke’s house.
It was Mr. Robbins, his nosy next door neighbor! He was sitting on his porch reading the newspaper and eyed the both of them with suspicion. However, he did have good reason. Mr. Robbins probably knew no one was home from the lack of cars in Luke’s driveway and he surely had never seen Dave before considering Luke had never invited him over.
If a random pair of identical twins entered an empty house they’ve never visited, it would look incredibly suspicious. Luke definitely did not want to get anyone else involved so he whispered into Dave’s ear. “Ok my house is the blue one… but we need to walk past it. No questions”. Luke inconspicuously motioned to Dave as the both of them walked past his house.
Luke gave a thumbs up after the two of them had left Mr. Robbins view before Dave started questioning him. “What the deal? Now how are we supposed to turn you back before we got spotted?” Dave said alarmed.
“Sorry but my neighbors really nosy and he would probably call the police on us” Luke explained. “So we’re going to have to sneak behind the fence and enter through my back door” Luke said.
It was easier said than done considering the fence was a bit high but the two of them were able to enter Luke’s house easily through the back door.
“Good thing I left it unlocked” Luke said making his way upstairs to his bedroom. He walked past his older brother’s room before entering his messy room and grabbing some clothes.
“Ok give me the medallion” Luke said before realizing Dave wasn’t behind him. Luke stepped out to see Dave waiting in the hallway.
“Oh sorry I forgot to give you this” Dave said passing the ziploc bag to Luke. Luke grabbed the bag before saying…
