The now very female Matthew took a moment to gauge the shortest route back to the bar. That was walking past the table with the three mismatched couples. She made it to the table to be accosted by a male voice “Sabrina could you bring us another round when you are ready. Same as before”

Matthew just smiled (well she tried to smile, but didn’t know whether her facial muscles worked the same way) and ‘Sam’ did not repeat the drinks order. Matthew assumed that he would come to the bar soon enough.
He made it to the bar without being accosted then made eye contact with the relieving barman. She could not remember his name. “All under control?” she enquired.
“Yep. I’ll just complete the order for this couple. The two at the far end are waiting. He nodded towards the other end of the bar where two young women were standing. Matthew negotiated her way to them. She still felt very uncomfortable in the towering boots.
“Hi can I help you?” Matthew asked. That was how he had been told to address customers when he had worked at the bar at his uncle’s restaurant. That being his only previous bar experience.
“Um yes. This is our first time here. We wanted to ask about your transformations”

They were a drink Matthew knew. He quickly located Vodka and Kahlua. But where would she find cream? Jake (she finally remembered his name!) had disappeared. She looked up in relief to see her old body approaching the bar. The real Sabrina took the seat Matthew had occupied earlier. “Just a minute” Matthew said to the girls. She also noticed Sam from the other table had come up to the bar and was also waiting to be served.
