Nora decided that it was finally time for her to really enjoy herself, she had only had the opportunity to see the effects on herself in a mirror but had never seen anyone else do it. In one evening she had become very attached to her friend Lara and did not want to let her down just because she is few years older , and then, why should she be the only one to benefit from the power of the dial? Nora stopped wondering and focused on a way to make her friend look younger without her noticing. She thought that not many people would be suspicious of her appearance once she lost just a few years, even herself, she also knew that the stopwatch had a strange side effect of also mentally changing its user so that they would not be shocked and would feel comfortable in their new age.
Now she needed a strategy to make sure her friend was the one getting younger and not her, which would really be a disaster. Fortunately she had taken care to read the instructions and knew that the person affected is the last one to press the activation button.
"Is everything okay, Nora?" asked Lara as she saw her friend lost in thought.
"Yes yes everything is fine! Just, could you do me a favor?"
"Of course anything for the beautiful Nora" said Lara as she dropped a friendly smile on her face.
"Great, so actually I have a trick when I meet new people that I like is that they have to press this timer, I saw an article that said it brings good luck to new friendships." Nora had no idea if this would work, she thought it was a pretty good idea and Lara had no reason to refuse.
"It's original but I love it! So I have to press right here?"
"Yes exactly!" Nora smiled, she placed the timer so that Lara would not see the screen with the age displayed.
Lara pressed the button, "Is that right?" she asked. "It's perfect!" Nora said, taking care to set the regression speed to the minimum.
Nora now had complete control over her friend's age, she felt a little cruel but planned to give her back her youth which balanced the scales.
"Excuse me Lara, I have to go to the bathroom, I'll be back in two minutes ."
"No problem, I'll order us two more drinks it's on me this time."
Nora pretended to go to the public bathroom but seeing Lara's back turned she decided to put herself in a place where she could not be seen but where she would have a view of her friend to fully see her regression. Nora then looked at the dial " 32 years and 6 months", she fixed her target to the same age as her, 25..
