"I want to be a shark from now on. I don't need to change back," you say. The genie looks surprised.
"Are you sure, master?" she says. "You do have three wishes. You can experience the joys of being an animal, as have some of my past masters, and still wish for more. You can't make wishes as a shark, because wish genies only obey human masters, but there's no reason you can't make a wish now to change back into a human later."
"I'll be the coolest and most famous predator in the ocean!" you say. "What else is there for more to wish for? Being a cool animal, anything better than a human, is the only wish I care about. It's okay if you can't grant it, though. I know what a silly thing it is to want in life, something that would surely never happen."
"Ah, but I am the genie of the impossible!" she reassures you. "If you truly have no more need or desire for your humanity, then there is no reason to delay this any longer." She snaps her fingers, and all at once you are wet--and naked--in a vast quantity of warm water. You can see blue all the way around you for as far as you can see. You should be able to feel yourself bobbing with the waves and being swept by currents, but your part of the water seems strangely still, at least for now. You should down in this depth of water up to your neck, barely able to raise your floating body above it for very far, but the water only comes up to your belly button, as though you're being held up by some force. Could this be magic? Is this to make your change easier for her in some way? Could you really be about to get your wish? What else could explain your sudden change of place?
"We're in the ocean! Just instantly!" you say, snapping your fingers. "That's impossible! But not for you, I suppose," you start to giggle, remembering what she called herself. The warm water feels good on your balls, which you cover in a hurry as you start to blush. "It's okay if you don't want to have to see me naked," you continue. "I'm not trying to perv out on you, or anything."
The genie laughs. "You poor creature! You're going to be naked in the ocean for the rest of your life; clothes are a silly human thing you shouldn't to trouble yourself about." Hearing her exempt you from worrying about a "human thing" makes you smile. As far as you can tell, you ARE still a human, though. Did something go wrong with your change? You were supposed to be a shark!
