Max then confirms the changes and looks up.
David, now Damian, and Billy suddenly feel a weird sensation spreading through their bodies, “I... I feel weird,” Billy says.
“M-me too,” Damian replies, “m-my head and body feel all tingly. I... I suddenly think my name is Damian... b-but I know I was called David, like our daddy.”
“Y-yeah... I remember you as D-Damian,” Billy says, “but... but also as David... .”
The boys then look at the two “girls”, Max is smiling while Ricky does not look happy, he/she turns to Max and mouths, “what have you done?”
Max just smiles and mouths back, “relax, it'll be fine.”
Both boys then notice that they seem to be almost eye level with the two “girls”, “wh-what is happening to us,” they ask at the same time. Their eyes widen as they notice that they are now taller than the two “girls”.
The boys look at each other, “Billy... your hair is different,” Damian says.
“Your's too,” Billy replies, then they both turn to Max and Ricky, “wh-what happened,” Billy asks.
Max smiles, “I made you the same age as us,” she says, “also I changed David's name to Damian, because your dad is also called “David”, I figured by giving your brother a new name would be less confusing.”
“But why did you change us and how did you do it,” Damian asks in his deeper voice, “damn... my voice sounds so weird,” he says.
“Because you both looked so sad, I did not want to see you two cry,” Max says, “now that you are 14 like us we can do big kid stuff. As for how I did it,” she holds up the device, “I used this, this is a Chronivac, it is able to change people, objects and animals.”
Billy and Damian look on in amazement, “s-so that means we can be your boyfriends now,” Billy asks hopefully.
Ricky is about to says something, but Max is quicker, “no... sorry boys,” she says, “I only changed your age for tonight, you'll be back to normal tomorrow,” she continues, “besides, me and Nikki feel that we aren't ready yet to have boyfriends.”
Billy and Damian lower their heads, “b-but...,” Damian says.
“Hey, don't be sad,” Max says, “you'll get your girlfriends in a few years, but for now, let's just have some fun as friends.”
“Yeah,” Ricky says, after being silent for a while, “your rooms should have changed to suit your new ages. Why don't we go and see what has changed,” she suggests.
The two boys look at each other, then back at the “girls”, “fine...,” they both say with a sad tone, “l-let's go to our rooms,” Billy says.
Both “girls” smile, “we are happy that you understand,” Max says.
“It... it makes us sad,” Damian says, “w-we really like you a lot.”
Billy nods, “we are disapointed, we had hoped that we could have become... well... closer than just friends,” he says. He looks at his brother, then back at the “girls”, “we'll get over it... I think,” Damian nods.
“We hope so too,” Ricky says, still feeling uneasy by the looks the boys are giving her.
“So, who's first,” Max asks.
“I wanna see my room first,” Billy says.
“No... me,” Damian replies.
“How about Damian goes with Nikki to look at his room, me and Billy will check out his room and then we'll meet in Damian's room,” Max suggests.
The boys nod and they all head upstairs, Ricky and Damian head to the left while Max and Billy head to the right. “See you guys in a few minutes,” Max says, receiving a nod from his “sister” and Damian.
Both boy's rooms have been changed to fit their new ages, there aren't any signs of the rooms ever being little kids rooms. Instead of Legos and other toys, the boys find that each of them have a Laptop, Smartphone and a Playstation hoocked up to a huge Plasma TV. The boys eyes widen in amazement, “w-woah... that thing sure has huge power if it is able to alter the reality so severely,” Damian and Billy exclaim.
After the boys have checked out their new rooms, the “girls” suggest that they could play some Playstation. This causes both boys to raise their eyebrows, “girls normally don't play consoles,” Billy says.
Max and Ricky grin, “these “girls” do,” Max says.
Billy and Damian look at each other and with a shrug they decide to do just that, “why not,” Billy says, “better than nothing.”
Billy and Damian sit down in the middle of the room, Ricky is sitting on the left of Billy and Max on the right of Damian. They start to play a few rounds of Mario Cart, while the “girls” are occupied by the game, Damian leans in to whisper into his brother's ear, “hey, since we have now got phones, do you think that there could be a App version of that... thing?”
“Probably, if there is...” Billy whispers back, eyeing the two "girls", "we just might be able to "convince" Nikki and Maxine that we are the best boyfriends", both grin at each other. “Why don't you pretend to need the toilette,” Billy then suggests.
“Good idea,” Damian says, “I'll let you know with a scratch to my nose that I have been successful, if not the signal will be me rubbing the back of my head,” Billy nods, then Damian pauses the game. “Sorry... but I need to go pee,” he says, both boys are still mentally 8 years old, so they actually are more interested in the “girls” than “stupid” video games.
“That's okay,” Max says, “we'll wait.”
Damian stands up, “I'll be right back,” he says and hurries out the room. Once he enters the bathroom he locks the door and pulls out his phone. He opens “Google Play” and enters “Chronivac” into the search bar, the boy grins wide as he sees the results. Damian waists no time and downloads and installs the app version of the Chronivac, once that is done he flushes the toilette and heads back to the others. “I'm back,” he says and scratches at his nose, signaling Billy that he has been successful, he sees Billy smirk slightly.
