Spread her newly formed wings and attempt to fly, seeing as that’s what normal dragons would do. She took to the skies as Marina shot a web to her tail to keep up with her. She was doing all sorts of maneuvers as Marina tried to get in closer. She was more surprised that no one was paying attention to either one of them, the giant red dragon flying in the city limits or the girl attached to its tail by a thick white web. Kylie spent her time joyriding while Marina was trying to get her to stop, but eventually they both managed to stop. Kylie rested her new wings in a secluded spot while Marina had to keep herself together. She once again confronted her friend.
“Why is it that every time you get something you have to test it immediately?”
“C’mon now, you can’t tell me that’s not what you did Mari Mari.”
She didn’t want to admit to Kylie that she was a much more ugly and freaky were-spider before getting a magical girl transformation that made her look more cute and adorable, so she stayed silent.
“Fine then, don’t tell me. I’ll still gonna believe that’s what you did.” She reverted back to her human form as she witnessed her new changes.
Kylie now had convertible red hair with little horns that hid in her twin tails. Instead of yellow eyes like Marina, her eyes turned emerald green. Her wings shrunk down to fit her body as they ended up being the length of her arms. She had retractable nails on her fingers and toes and scales as a defense mechanism she could use to keep herself from harm. She didn’t even notice her fangs stayed, just like Marina’s did.
“That reminds me, I never did try one thing.” She faced a broken, indescribable object nearby. She took a deep breath as she felt her tongue change and blew out fire as powerful as a military grade flamethrower. It burned the object so bad that it melted, despite looking like it was made of metal. Her tongue turned back into a human one as she started talking again, “So I can do that.”
Marina shook her head as she gave her the rundown of what they needed to do now, keep their abilities a secret, not draw attention to themselves, and try not to spread it to anyone else. Marina gave her a promise that they could be an official couple if she followed her instructions. She could see the excitement in her eyes as said that, her tail wagging like a common dog.
Getting back to their hangout spot, they saw most of the people were back to doing whatever they were doing previously. In Kylie’s new form, she kept her exaggerated hourglass body shape, just on a normal body size, so she did get a few cat calls and stares.
