Laura would yawn abit as she considered her next move and then look around the basement, grumbling to herself that sleeping here was 100% not an option. The 2 year old didn’t want to get caught and babied anymore then she had too, but where the hell could a now reduced toddler like herself go that was free of outside influences?
Then it hit her, this library is within a stones throw from her neighborhood and house. So long as she played it safe, the toddler would make it there in no time. Immediately deciding to do that, she would initially go to climb back out the window but she would stop herself as she remembered her accident in the port-a-potty. She would definitely need spare diapers… but she couldn’t carry them and climb. She would lean against the boxes and think, before her eyes caught a backpack that was small enough for her to use and her eyes lit up in happiness.
Immediately she would pick it up and return to the package of diapers, shoving the package in there alongside the dice case and barely zipping it up as she put it on her back… jeez this was heavy, toddlers sucked at this but whatever. Her diaper problems settled, the toddler climbed out the basement again and into the night, sneaking to the best of her ability to the house. She quickly made it there and looked under her mat for her secondary key, unlocking the door and wandering inside her house.
There she found herself…
