After getting hit with Jinx's magic, you start thinking it didn't work.
Until you hear your mother calling you from outside the lamp, sounding far away, probably still on the first floor and simply calling you for dinner. Hearing her voice make you briefly think of her, and that's when you realize that, while you still think of her as your mother, now you also think of her as your lover.
You want to reprimand Jinx, but can't. Not unless you want your mom to find out about you going into the attic and bringing down the unreliable genie's lamp. (And worst, using it.) You don't know how, but you exit the lamp like it was the more natural thing in the world and run down.
As you arrive down the stairs, your mother reprimand you "What did I say about running in the stairs, sweety?" before lovingly kissing you. To your surprise, you can't help but love it, even trying to deepen the kiss, but your mom slowly and gently push you. "We should eat before the meal get cold sweety. But if you want, I'm more than willing to invite you to my room for the dessert." That last sentence being said on a seductive tone.
