Maureen went shopping and bought a 2 packets of panties, one of size 14 and one of size 12. She made sure to get sealed packets so that she was sure the panties had not been worn before. Then she spent the next few hours checking out favourite dress shops. She didn't end up buying anything just in case things didn't work out how they were meant to.
Liz also didn't stay home for long. She also couldn't resist the urge to shop. She purchased a C-cup bra. from a lingerie store. The bra was neatly folded and didn't look like anyone had tried it on.
Back home Liz kept looking at the clock. The hours ticked away too slowly giving her plenty of time to ponder. She had decided she wasn't going to wait until tomorrow morning. She would use the medallion as soon as she could. From her calculations that would be at about 9 pm.
Liz read the medallion's instructions multiple times, and changed her mind several times about what swap she might like to try. According to the note she could change to a younger version of herself. All she needed was an article of her own clothing that had not been worn for a while. She could change to a copy of herself from when she had last worn that article. She immediately thought of the boxes stowed in her garage. Some of those boxes had remained unpacked since she had moved to this house after her last divorce 10 years ago. Liz would be quite happy to be 40 again! But did any contain clothes? She could not remember.
So Liz spent an hour going through those boxes. Unfortunately none contained clothes but she did find several pairs of shoes. Would they work? And were they even hers? They looked vaguely familiar but she couldn't say for certain that they were her own. The size was right. But why would she have saved old shoes?
The other possible source of old clothes was the wardrobe in the spare bedroom. There Liz found what she was looking for. One item she could definitely date was the dress she had worn to Maureen's daughter's deb ball. She could not remember wearing that dress since. But that was probably only about 6 years ago. She would have been 44. Was that too old? Well it was better than 50, that's for sure.
Then Liz had another thought. Her mother was a hoarder and had lived in the same house for 45 years. Liz still used her childhood bedroom whenever she visited. And if she recalled correctly the wardrobes contained lot's of her old junk, clothes included. No doubt in that room she could find stuff that, by use of the medallion, could change her back as far as childhood if she wanted! The only problem was that her mother lived three hours away. Too late to go there today, but a visit in the near future was a certainty.
The clock finally ticked around to 9 pm. Liz finally made up her mind. She touched the medallion to ......
