Alicia lay there looking at her sleeping husband waiting for him to wake. She was tempted to speed up the process but restrained herself. She wanted him to wake naturally then see his reaction when he became aware of what had swapped overnight. Ten minutes later and she couldn't resist any longer. She gently brushed her finger against Henry's ear.
His hand flicked up and brushed his ear. The subconscious reaction to a fly crawling on him. She did it a second time. And his reaction was the same. "Henry" she whispered in his ear.
His eyes shot open "What?... Alicia?"
"Good morning. Look!" She held a mirror in front of Henry's face "Your ears! You were right"
Henry saw his reflection then his hand went to his ear. He felt the big diamond imbedded in it. "I was right!" He then looked at his hands. He had long red nails - but they were his own hands with Alicia's fake nails. Alicia twinkled her own hands in front of Henry. They also had long red nails big but she also had a big diamond on her left ring finger.
"We got our hands back" Alicia stated the obvious.
"This is good. The changes do revert back after 24 hours, if we drink a sachet. But tell me how these diamonds got in my ears? You weren't wearing them yesterday"
"Just a little surprise for you to wake up to"
"Speaking of which we need to get ready for the snorkelling trip. You have to get these nails off my hands"
They went to the kitchenette and Alicia went to work. Soon the nails were off, but she could not restore the hairs on Henry's hands. To him they still seemed to be someone else's hands.
They dressed, Henry in his board shorts and a long sleeved rash vest and Alicia in her bikini's and her beach wrap. Alicia then removed the diamonds including her own and locked them in the safe where the doll was. She also used her eyebrow trimmer to remove the unsightly hairs now growing in her ears. Her long hair may well hide the ears but the hairs were so unsightly, they just had to go.
The went to breakfast then just had time to clean their teeth and grab some towels before being picked up and taken to the 50 ft yacht.
They had a great day. The weather was ideal as was the smooth sailing, snorkelling over a coral reef, seeing whales and dolphins the followed by a nice lunch with a more than passable wine as they returned to harbour. Henry was very happy that he had chosen a exclusive tour that only had 6 passengers. He was also happy that none of the other guests were staying at their resort, this was despite them being very agreeable. There was little chance he would run into these people again.
By the time they were back at the resort it was 2 pm and time for a rest.
That evening they went out to dinner at a highly recommended restaurant. Henry still wore the altered trousers but this time he was much more comfortable as he was able to wear his own shoes and didn't have to wear gloves. If anyone noticed that he had dainty ears they didn't say anything. Alicia looked stunning in a red body hugging dress. Once more Henry revelled in the fact that he was the envy of all the other males in the restaurant.
Henry couldn't resist and began undressing Alicia as soon as they were back in their room. Alicia was happy to be seduced but only if Henry put the diamond studs back in his ears. He was happy enough to oblige her.
Later Alicia had to wake a drowsy, exhausted Henry and get him to swallow half of the drink she had made using the pale orange sachet from the doll's neck.
