She was about to leave, when she remembered the ring on her right had. She had planned to only use it in emergencies, but realized,
that she wasn't even sure how it worked. Bessie decided to try it out now, to avoid any problems when she has to use it in the future.
She touched the ring, staring at the gem, trying to figure out how to use it, when she suddenly felt like it was pulling her in again.
Bessie decided not to look away this time, wondering what would happen, only to find herself plunged into darkness.
She frantically looked around, trying to find out what happened, and noticed that her mind started running faster and faster.
Her eyes bouncing from side to side, trying to find anything in the darkness that she could hold onto. She felt her body become moore and more tense, as if it were looking for some source of light that it could sprint towards. But then the darkness disappeared,
just as suddenly as it came. She looked around, but everything was the same as before. It didn't even look as if any time had passed.
Bessie only noticed that it had worked when she took a step and her foot sunk slightly into the stone. She barely even felt any resistance.
Her mind came up with a new plan within seconds. She ran back into the castle, finding the magical focus in less than a minute,
and started the process of making the castle her own. It took her less than ten minutes to fix the castles magic and put it under her control,
due to having temporarily become more powerful than it's original owner Renux. She spent most of her remaining time improving and customizing the castle, to suit her preferences and needs, before sitting down and writing a plan for her future self.
The Chimera spent the entire hour helping her, despite being in a superior position in their relationship, due to her charisma having increased to such a degree, that he would do almost anything she asked him to.
Bessie finally laid down on a bed in one of the bedrooms after 59 minutes and waited for the ring's ability to end.
She didn't have to wait long, as she suddenly felt a terrible burning pain spread across her body, just seconds after lying down.
It felt as if her body was tearing itself apart, and her brain felt like it was being cooked inside her skull.
The pain was so intense that she rolled off the bed and started convulsing on the ground. She wasn't even able to scream, only gasp silently.
It lasted for almost fifteen minutes, before the pain subsided, leaving her lying on the ground, motionless except for the occasional twitch comming from her muscles. Her mind was blank and blood was running down her nose. It took a little longer before she started slowly started moving again, rolling over and flopping onto her belly and sizable breasts. She unsteadily got up unto her hands and knees,
looking ahead blankly with a cross-eyed stare. There was a 'ping' sound, prompting her to look around, confused, wondering where it came from, before somewhat focusing on the transparent notice that had appeared, though she couldn't read any of it.

She looked at it for a while longer, before loosing interest in the strange thing floating in front of her.
Bessie turned her attention towards her robe, it felt unnatural and restricting. She flailed around on the ground for a few minutes,
before managing to somehow remove it, throwing it aside. It felt much better, now that she was unrestricted.
Bessie moved around the room for a short while, until she spotted the door and decided to move towards it, curious about what it was.
She was surprised to discover that there was even more behind it that she hadn't seen yet. Bessie slowly crawled down the hallway,
excited to explore this strange new world.
