Everything went fine down at the pool. There were only two other groups there. A family and a middle aged couple. Henry and Alicia had one end of the pool to themselves. They had a swim then sat in a bubbling spa. The noise of the spa was enough to disguise their mismatched voices so they chatted about what other activities they would like to do during their remaining days. When another couple came to the spa, much as they might have liked to chat, they couldn't. It was time to go.
On the way back to their room much to Henry's chagrin they ran into Alex the golf pro. "Hi there. How are you going? You haven't been back for that lesson. The offer still stands" he was addressing Alicia "I heard you did very well the other day beating your husband” He gave a disdainful glance towards Henry. “You have a great natural swing but I know I could give you some tips that would help your game even further"
Alicia couldn't reply because of her voice, but she didn't like being rude. She tried to talk in the highest voice she currently could reach "Sorry we've been busy" she pointed at her throat "Sore throat. If I can find the time" Thank god she had put the scarf around her neck as soon as they had left the spa.
Henry felt like punching the douche, however he didn't dare make a noise. He gave Alex a glare, grabbed Alicia's hand and dragged her away.
That evening they ordered room service. Alicia rang and using Henry's voice ordered meals. While on the phone she asked whether the resort had a karaoke machine they could use in their room, however the answer was no. The receptionist recommended a Karaoke bar 10 minutes away.
"If you want to do Karaoke why didn't you just say so" said Henry. "I'll get You tube up on the TV"
So after they had eaten, Henry got You tube up on the TV and Alicia selected some songs. Firstly Alicia sang ‘Sweet Caroline’ Henry was impressed. Then Alicia selected 'Hit me baby one more time' from Britney Spears, a song she had sung many times. "Your turn husband" Henry tried but got the timing all wrong.
Alicia selected another song for herself. This time it was 'I just called to say I love you' from Stevie Wonder. She was having a great time. Dancing as she sang and pointing at Henry. It was weird hearing a male voice coming out of the girl still just wearing her wrap over her bikini.
"Okay what girl songs do you know?" she asked Henry, when her song finished.
"I have never sung a girls song"
"Well what girl songs do you like to listen too?"
"I don't know. Maybe that Mariah Carey Christmas song" He liked the video more than anything else.
"I'll find it" She did. A minute later Henry was singing. "All I want for Christmas is you...." He started slowly but before long he started to gain confidence and began to get into the spirit of it. It helped when Alicia began to dance in time with the music.
When the song had finished both had big grins on their faces "That was great" Alicia proclaimed. "How about we do a duet? I know just the one the start with. She dialled up 'Time of my life' Alicia pointed at Henry every time he had to sing the verse. He soon got the idea as the writing on the screen for the girl voice was a different colour. By the end of the song Henry was singing and dancing just as enthusiastically as Alicia.
"Wow this Karaoke was a great idea" exclaimed Henry once that song was finished.
"It's fun isn't it. Let's do another duet" In fact they did two more. ‘Don’t go breaking my heart’ then ‘Islands in the stream’ However they must have been getting too loud. The phone rang. It was from reception asking them to "Turn down the volume please"
It didn't really matter, by then both were ready for a bit of bed activity.
Lying in bed after mutually satisfying sex. Alicia said "So what have you got in mind for tomorrow?"
"I was thinking a trip to Pearl Harbour and maybe a drive up to the North shore" They had discussed options earlier while in the spa
"I meant what do we want to swap?"
"I was thinking legs?"
"Suits me. I'll get the satchet"
