Mark couldn't get over how strange Heidi looked wearing smaller versions of his Mom's clothes as she placed down Jens dog food. Showing no restraint Jen began lapping up the brown sludge as if it was the tastiest thing in the world, her bottom once more shaking in excitement. Heidi put a rainbow bib around the re-dressed Gwen, turning around to Mark who was pointing a strange remote at her.
"Dear whats that-" Heidi has started saying before a wave went over her as the reality altered once more. As the waves settled, Mark no longer saw anyone in front of him, though felt tugging around his feet, looking down he saw Heidi practically naked except for a rainbow hair pin, with wide eyes staring back up at him.
"Yip Yip! *heavy panting*" came the high pitched sounds from Heidi, who was jumping up and down from all fours.
"Mark dear, put away that remote, the poor puppy thinks its another toy for her." said the voice of the once more human Jennifer. Mark saw that she was now wearing the casual top and apron. Instead of jeans that his mother and Heidi had worn, she had a pair of tight cut-off shorts revealing perhaps a bit too much.
"Err Jen w-" Mark began asking before he was stopped with Jennifer shooting daggers at him. "Mark! You don't call me that now. I am your mother and you will show me that respect. Only grown-ups call me Jennifer." "Yeaah. She momma!" came the immature echo of Gwen.
Realising his mistake from all these changes, Mark quickly apologised which soften his 'mothers' mood once more. "Sorry Mom. I wanted to ask where Heidi's clothes were?"
After a brief pause, Mark saw Jen's puzzled face looking back at him. "Clothes? Do you mean her accessories? I know when they get older some like to dress them up in silly shirts, but Heidi is just a puppy. I think she looks cute enough anyway with that hair pin you got her."
Jennifer then returned to wiping away some stray food from her endowed 'daughter', leaving Mark to wonder how the same swaps resulted in these subtle differences. When Jen was a dog, she still technically wore some clothes at least and Heidi as his mother never dressed this proactively. Looking around the house, Mark noticed there were several new dog toys, with Heidi carrying a 'well-loved' ragged horse toy in her mouth as she came back to the bowl labelled with her name and began lapping up the food.
Sitting down to his own meal Mark realised it was some of their key traits that had guided the subtle changes. Jen used to always get in trouble for how scantily she dressed at times, though now as a mother figure this had toned down a bit whilst not fully being removed. Meanwhile Heidi had always be very hyper even for her age, and loved playing with her toys, which translated to her dog form being an energetic puppy more interested in toys than 'accessories' for her.
Everyone having finished their meal, with Gwen having most of it over her, gave Mark some time to look over the remote again. At least he would have if Heidi would stop trying to jump up his leg whining and occasionally barking. "You know she won't stop until she gets her belly scratches" chuckled Jen as she cleaned up the table and 'sister'.
Mark couldn't handle this craziness and pulled out the remote, aiming for Heidi, who upon seeing this shiny toy leapt up right as Mark pressed a button, sending it falling onto the ground.
