Dr. Desoto goes down to have dinner with his teenage sons. As they have dinner Desoto wonders if the spell really works like Matt said it would.
"So uh, did you hear about Eddie Murphy's next movie?" Both sons are big Eddie fans.
"No, what?"
"It's suppossed to be a remake of one of those 50's sci fi movies, but i can't remember the name..."
"Oh i know, dad, you mean the Incredible Shrinking man."
Desoto was sitting there waiting for it, he cringed when his son came to the 'it' word and *blink* he was indeed three inches shorter. What was so amazing was the way it felt to shrink. It was fantastic. In that moment he wasn't sure if he should get up from the table or pull up his sleeves and hope the boys won't notice.
"No way the incredible Shrinking man?"
Oh god there it was again, another three inches lost! He could feel the chair he was in grow up his back as he was now only 5' 2" tall!
He only wanted to see if the spell works now he has opened a can of worms...
"Yeah, i heard he's supposed to shrink (oh yes I'm shrinking...) in his next movie. I wonder how small he gets?"
"Yeah, maybe he gets shrunk real small and someone steps on him, ha ha." Desoto realizes he didn't shrink when his son said shrunk instead of (oh no i just thought the word shrink and i've shrunk myself some more!)"
Desoto gets up from the table and goes into the kitchen and hopes his kids don't follow him. He looks around and realizes he's now less than five feet tall, he's not much higher than the counter now.
Right now i can either go upstairs to my room and give in to wonderful sensations of shrinking, or i can confess to my sons that a shrinking spell has been cast upon me. Desoto is standing in the kitchen weighing his options, hoping someone anonymous will continue with his adventure...
