Back at the house, Melanie answered her cellphone. "Hey big brother what's up?"
Rick didn't have time to process the mature, 20-something sounding voice on the other end, today had been weird enough, aging seven years overnight and roughly another seven since waking up. And now his girlfriend -- wife -- DAMMIT, he was starting to actually think of her as his wife -- six months pregnant mere minutes after giving having sex.
"Mel, don't get mad, we have a problem," Rick said. "Darcy, she -- I -- she's pregnant, and --"
Melanie cut her brother off.
"I'm going to be an AUNT?!? That's GREAT!! Should I get mom and meet you at the hospital?"
"GREAT?!?" Rick exclaimed. "What do you --never mind, yes come meet us at -- wait, 'get' mom? Where's mom? Where are you?"
"Umm, I'm at my apartment with my roomate Lily and she's at home at her house?"
"WHEN DID YOU MOVE OUT?!?" Rick demanded.
"Rick sweetie, no time for this, I think my water's going to break," Darcy moaned from the driver's seat.
"Rick, you know I moved out this morning," Mel said indignantly. "Stop treating me like a child, I'm 5 years old."
Rick groaned, hung up and drove to the hospital. They rushed Darcy right inside because she was already crowning.

Two hours later, Rick's mother, Renee, along with Melanie and Lily, were in the waiting room of the hospital's maternity section when a shocked Rick came in, holding a child the size of a nearly 1-year old.
"Um," he began, shocked at the size of the baby, his mother's nearly fully grey, shoulder-length hair, and the fact that his sister and her friend looked about 22. "Meet my, um, daughter. Olivia. Darcy named her after some singer."
