The remainder of their journey was long and uneventful. They had left the mountainous woodlands behind them, as they marched through thick jungle swamps. On several occasions the carriage would get stuck in the mud and Ty, Steph, and the former bandit turned vampire were forced to push the carriage out. And each night Ty planned on escaping only to have her plans dashed by the orc who was taking no chances with his prisoners. Ty and Stephen would be hogtied each night while the vampire would remain locked in her chains of silver. After many weeks of travel they finally emerged from the jungle, only to have to traverse a vast and dry desert.
The bandits pushed onward towing behind them their slaves, not bothering to rest during the hottest times of the day. By the second day, Ty and Steph were crawling on all fours, too exhausted to walk. After a little “persuasion” from the orc the two continued on, lest they find themselves being dragged through the desert. After two months from first departing the bandit camp they could see their destination.
It was like a mirage, a vast stone city nestled between the desert and the ocean, it was a welcomed sight. Although Ty knew this place would be her prison, she could not take being out in this desert any longer. The carriage made its way through the city gates and down a bustling market street. Steph and Ty were awe struck at the opulence of this grand city. Everywhere their was commerce, merchants peddling goods from far off lands, and by the dock sailors were busy unloading exotic spices and wares.
“Would you look at this place, it is quite something don’t you think Ty?” Steph inquired, unable to contain her awe.
“This is most impressive.” Ty replied, “I don’t think I have ever seen a place so busy not even back home.”
“Quiet you two!” The orc hissed, then proceeding to yank on their chains. Ty and Steph let out a little cry as they stumbled on the cobblestone road. They quieted down so to not get a beating from the orc.
After pushing through the crowed streets they arrived in the main hub, it was apparent that besides trade this city was know for its plethora of vices. Once they got past the outer ring of trading posts the rest of the businesses seemed to comprise of brothels, gambling halls, and taverns. And their was none more glamorous, more intoxicating than Gomorrah. And it was here that Ty and Steph were destined to.
The slaves were taken to the backside of the massive mansion, where they were approached by a guard.
“You’re late.” The guard said to the orc.
“Ran in to some trouble, but ya got your goods.”
The guard inspected Ty and Steph closely before looking at the vampire all chained, gaged, wearing a sack over her head.
“The Lady only ordered two. Why do you have three here?” The guard inquired.
“Merely compliments from the Master to The Lady. An extra bonus for being such a loyal customer.”
“Well alright, we can always use more hands.” The guard took another look at all the bindings on her. “Say is she even broken in yet?”
“Well let’s just say she’ll be very cooperative” the orc said patting the vampire girl on her silver chastity belt.
The guard simply shrugged and ushers the slaves inside. He then proceeds to give the orc and his companion their gold.
“Try not to spend it all before you leave” the guard chuckles, as the two bandits get back into their carriage and head off.
