Jessica began to laugh. "Angels are sexless, you idiot. Just what were you planning on doing with me?"
Jessica's eyes glowed with Holy light and her skin began to burn with divine fire.
Jim flinched away as Jessica became the wrath of God.
Jessica opened her mouth and a booming bass voice shook the building. Jessica's mouth did not move, it was as if a voice spoke through her.
"Thou art damned foul creature of the pit, return to thy banishment and come forth no more."
From Jessica's hand a fiery sword grew and in one swift motion she smote the demon. Jessica's sword, thrust through the heart of the demon and he screeched in hideous pain. Black ichor gushed and hissed as it fell upon the floor. It opened up a hole to the inferno below. Within the flames the damned souls cried out for mercy as they were tortured by the demons of the pit. Seeing Jessica above, her sword impaling the demon, they cried out to her for mercy. Suddenly, the fell creature that inhabited Jim melted away, oozing into the opened pit and just as suddenly, the hole to the inferno closed.
Jim, purged of the demon that had possessed him stood before the fiery angel. The sword was withdrawn from his bare chest and the wound healed instantly. The voice once again boomed.
"Thou art saved, son of Adam. Go forth now and do the bidding of the Lord of Heaven. Look unto Me for aid and accept this as a sign of my favor." With that, Jim's body was transformed. Jim became physically perfect in body and his mind was filled with knowledge of the Lord and the ways in which he might smite evil in His name. Go forth, son of Adam and be a Holy Knight. Defend the weak and protect the innocent and serve me well. "I give to thee a gift." Jessica stretched forth her hand and a mighty silver sword, sheathed in gold appeared. She placed it in Jims hand. "This is Araphael, Bane of Darkness. Evil cannot resist it. It burns with the fire of our Lord and is feared in Hell almost as much as God Himself. Take this and serve our Lord."
Jessica looked around her and as if silently instructed, she nodded her head. Her eyes blazed again and the ground shook. The chapel's grey stones became white marble, it's structure took on a divine symmetry. A Holy temple of gleaming white now stood where the chapel once was, all corruption banished from the hallowed ground.
Jessica smiled and as the fires of wrath receded, she took flight and arose into heaven bidding Jim peace as she left.
Jim knelt his massive muscular body in prayer, clothed only in a loin cloth of white silk. He was God's Holy Knight now and completely devoted to The Lord. When he returned to the sanctuary where the demon that had possessed him had left Tania, he found her lying on the white marble floor, unconscious. She was back to being who she was, the taint removed from her body by Jessica and the divine power that had worked through her. Tania was also physically perfect and beside her lay a sword. Jim knew it to be Sarahphael, The Bringer of Hope. The sword was no less powerful than his own.
Jim picked her up from the floor gently and laid her on a pew, placing the Sarahphel in Tania's hands. She slept peacefully.
The temple was a holy place again. A fortress of righteousness and Jim was its first Holy warrior, Tania was its second.
