John passed a Toon World coin over to the kangaroo as a tip. "That'll be it, thanks." John said. "Okey, just whistle if you need me" Joey then closed the door and began audibly hopping back down the hall. Now without the worry of the whereabouts of their luggage, Carrie and John were free to explore their room. "This room is surprisingly normal, didn't the outside of the building look more cartoony?" Carrie quizzes. "It's probably for people like us to get adjusted easier" John loudly speaks from the bathroom. While doing so, John is inspecting a large assortment of colored shampoos in a cabinet that is bigger on the inside.
Carrie on the other hand has turned on the TV and began flipping through channels. Unsurprisingly, most of the channels were cartoons with some even being in black and white. Eventually she finds her way out of the cartoons and to what appears a series of channels dedicated to be security footage from the very hotel they're currently staying it, in addition, there is text at the bottom of the screen saying that you could hop through the TV to quickly travel to the place you're viewing. In a quick test, Carrie reaches her hand into the TV and it sinks right through like liquid however she quickly yanks it back out as she's startled that it worked. She begins flipping through channels again right as John walks back into the room to catch her hypnotized by a swirling picture accompanied by the sounds of mooing. John adverts his eyes while he grabs the remote from her and turns it off. "Mooooo . . . huh, where am I?" Carrie says groggily. John shakes her gently by the shoulder "Hey, you're in our hotel room. I think you were hypnotized by the TV. You okay?" "I dunno, I was just flipping through channels, I think I remember seeing a cow or something for a bit. Then that's it, you woke me up just now." Carrie explains as she sits and lays down on the bed onto her back. "Well be careful next time I guess, maybe we should call the front desk about it." John says as he makes his way over to the phone.
Immediately John sees sitting next to the phone is a binder explaining some of the services they can call. He starts looking through and finds a whole bunch of foods order up to their room. They begin normal, such as various sandwiches and seafood, but eventually it lists things such as Fox Berries, Canine Peppers, Ringtail Figs, and many other odd foods that don't seem like meals. Then it stops listing food altogether, instead having really odd items such as air pumps, toy guns, diapers, and more that doesn't seemingly belong in a setting like a hotel. The rest of the pages seem to list other surrounding businesses that you could call for reservations or have their services delivered to your room.
John closes the book at looks over to Carrie who is now just looking out the balcony onto the surreal city below her. "You wouldn't believe some of the stuff you could order here." John says. "You wouldn't believe some of the channels on the TV." Carrie says. "This place. . . seems so amazing. I can't wait to see all it has to offer." John walks up to Carrie, resting an arm on her shoulder "Well, let's get started then. Where do you wanna begin?" John asks.
