The room's light in my face I'm blinded and standing there anyone would feel like a fool. The thought and desire to be friendly and offer another person guidence is taken harshly.
"Oh excuse me, I was just browsing for the right thing to wear!"
As eyes adjust to the light there standing looking at me is this satyr woman in all her sensual naked glory. She is a dream come true but it was her tacky comment that told me I was not believed as being an innocent but willing friend.
"How dare you pull this shit!" she screamed in anger and disgust.
Embarressed I step deeper into the closet expecting her to call for Circe and me to meet my doom.
"You are safe now, your choice of costume is befitting the fool!" she says as then offering me a hairy hand to lead me out and into the room.
A long sleeve blouse, a wig, and some rather snug fitting slacks had me looking the fool, but putting them on in the dark made certain I knew not what I was wearing right then.
The satyr girl led me and positioned me before Circe's three piece mirror.
Seeing myself for what I had adorned my body with a disguise, the joke was on me. Looking back at me was the shaggy brown head of hair and a mane owned once by one of Circe's wild male Lions. As I had plopped it on my head the hair grew in place, spreading around my neck and sprouting along the chest and belly all the way to my groin.
The blouse was part of Circe's halloween costumes as it was the upper part of a goat. My arms while in the sleeves had become forelegs ending in a cloven hoof. The actual chest, ribs, shoulders and torso looked like a goat with the exception of that shaggy mane.
The slacks were making me look ever more the real fool as then had transformed my legs into two seperate scaly tails of a fish. Sturdy in form, well muscled enough to stand, walk, or in time even swim, my legs were as fishy tails and feet as fins.
"Thor would be proud to harness one like you to his chariot!" said the satyr girl with a smile.
I turned and modeled my new self and with the nod of my head I had to agree, I was the clown!
