As Lucy opened her mouth, someone knocked on Meadow's door. Meadow opened it to see her friend Cassandra "Cass" Rivera. The Puerto Rican girl's dark hair grew down to the golden brown skin of her exposed midriff. Meadow smiled, noting that the Latina's arms and legs were still as hairy as ever... even if they were nothing compared to the hippie's own new growth.
"Hola, Mead!" Cass chirped in her slightly accented voice. "I'm here to return that crystal you loaned me. I think it really did bring me luck on the exam." She suddenly spotted Meadow's thickly forested arms and legs. She whistled. "¡Ah cabrón! You finally did it, Mead! You're so fucking hairy now. Congratulations, mi amiga. Muy, muy sexy."
"I know!" Meadow smiled. "I love it! I can't wait to show you how I—"
Cass suddenly spotted Lucy sitting on Meadow's couch. She stared over Meadow's shoulder, trying to get a better look at the Chinese skater girl. "Lucy Wong? Qué diablos?! I didn't know you two knew each other. You dating or something?"
Meadow suddenly knew why Lucy looked so familiar. She knew that Cass had until recently been dating a skater chick named Lucy. Lucy smiled at the sight of her ex-girlfriend Cass. Cass walked up to Lucy and checked out her leg. Cass's brown eyes nearly burst from their sockets. "Qué diablos?!" She choked. She ran her fingers over the little patch of black hairs. There was no question of them being real; they were actually growing on a small patch of Lucy's skin. Cass smiled at the soft feeling of the hairs on her fingers, but the best part was knowing that these sexy hairs were actually a part of Lucy... the woman she loved. But where did they come from, and why did they only grow on a single patch of Lucy's leg?
"You gotta tell me everything," said Cass.
"Okay," agreed Meadow. "I was working at Starbucks, and I chanced across Lucy. She wanted to know how I grew out all this lovely hair, so I invited her over and showed her THIS!" She dramatically hoisted the brush over her head. "It's a magic brush I bought in this groovy new shop. It grows hair wherever you brush. Each stroke grows in more hair, longer and thicker each time. Cool, huh?"
Cass was tempted to laugh, but that patch of hair on Lucy's leg had to come from somewhere. And then there was Meadow, who had transformed into a glorious hirsute sasquatch since Cass came to her place to borrow the crystal. Maybe Meadow really COULD do magic. Maybe she could use it on Cass.
"Wow!" was all Cass could say.
