"Pffft," Karen said, rolling her eyes. There was only one person who would possibly have had a fountain installed in her backyard and that was her ex-husband Carl. This was exactly the kind of stupid stunt she was expecting. It has been, what, three years since he ran off with a stripper? Clearly, the money had run out and he was coming crawling back. Still, she wasn't quite sure to make of the plaque. Did Carl buy an old movie prop or something? A second-hand fountain. The nerve!
Calming down a bit, Karen decided to entertain the stupidity of it. She didn't feel much like a mouse but, even in her imagination, she didn't like the idea of putting on any weight. She had worked hard for her body and liked it just the way it was.
"Well," Karen smiled, looking down at her already ample chest, "Maybe I could make a *slight* improvement." After all, it sure wasn't personality that drew Carl to, whatsherface, Velvet?
After lounging in the sun, it felt divine to have the cool, clear water from the fountain hit her chest. In fact, it was intensely euphoric the way the top of her bikini soaked in the wetness and held it against her sun drenched skin. Karen could barely return the cup before she stumbled back to her lounge chair, giving in to the sheer bliss that was reclining and letting the sun and air massage her every inch. In fact, she had to stop herself from letting her hand drift down below her waistline. As good as that might feel, she thought, it wouldn't be too long before Chase and Chloe got home from school. Not to mention her incredibly nosy neighbor Jill Stemson. It was a minor miracle that she had been in her own yard for so long already without Jill "dropping by".
So, instead, Karen let herself drift off, her mind turning to dream. Why, she didn't even notice the loud snap when her bikini top gave way...
