Jo-Lynne Shane was 47 years old and fed up with her current life. She had always been fascinated by the idea to become a domestic animal. Since the transformation pills had be developed her fantasy have become reality. For three times now she had enjoyed a vacation as a farm animal. It was the best time in her life. So this time she decided for a permanent transformation. After her last stay she had been thinking about it for months, before she finally decided to take this step now. She didn't make the decision lightly. Her human life isn't bad at all, but a transformation with return ticket is expensive. After weighing all the pros and cons she has come to the conclusion that she preferred to live a few years as a happy animal than leading a boring life of a suburban woman seeking for the next transformation kick.
She knew there will be no way back as soon as she had signed the contract and swallowed the pill.
In preparation she had studied in detail the living conditions on modern farms. Gradually, her image of Old MacDonald's farm had made way for a clear vision of modern farming. Her study had included animal husbandry, slaughter practices and market developments. One could, by all means, call her an expert in farming. But most surprising was, that all this had not tuned down her interest in being a domestic animal on a permanent basis. Many people would probably have been shocked by conditions in modern sties or the way animals were slaughtered for meat. Jo-Lynne was not. Instead, she found the idea chillingly arousing. Deep inside she suspected that it was not even so much the idea of being an animal that attracted her. It was probably even more the idea of being not much more than an object. This feeling of helpless, foreign determination was deeply alluring.
While Bob is showing the newcomer around the farm, Jo-Lynne goes straight to the office. "Hello Mrs. Shane, what should it be this time?" Paul, a farm worker Jo-Lynne knew from her last stays, greeted her friendly as she enters the reception office. "Hello Paul, nice to meet you again. Same as always. But this time a bit longer." she replied with a happy smile.
