Or at least he tried to. The powerful dual orgasms and the mind numbing potency of his ejaculations had lulled him into satisfied lethargy. The Deinonychus laid his head down gently and closed his eyes, drifting into a deep peaceful sleep.
When he opened his eyes again the dim street lamps from he walking path were on and moths fluttered overhead. Brendon blinked several times in shock and got his bearings. When he turned his head, it was to check that he was still in his new wonderful saurian form and hadn't changed back.
The transformation was quite permenant. Brendon felt a quiver of excitement as he saw his long powerful body stretching out behind him. His dicks almost began to rise again in pure bliss. Now, now, he urged his primal self. There will be time for that later. We have a mission! We have to find our female. So help me out and we might get to have a little more fun with somebody we love. The primal side found this perfectly agreeable. He should probably set out. The dark was much safer for them.
And so he did. The dinosaur rose off his haunches and stood. For a few moments, his reptilian eyes blinked as if trying to adjust, but it was merely Brendon adjusting to the fact that he had built in night vision. His pupils grew in the dark and he found himself staring at a hot thermally charged world. Not one shadow was able to hide a single thing. He saw a neon rainbow of colors that exposed the night completely to him. His senses were dancing with activity. Smells, noises, vibrations. Coupled with his perfect night sight, it was startling. He doubted he could ever function as a human again. A weak pathetic half-blind human.
Somewhere down the path he heard teenagers laughing. Like he used to be. Now he was a prehistoric predator. He snapped his tail out for balance and focused. He was in the park, near the old boarded up ice cream stand. His girlfriend was west, over the railroad tracks. He'd have to cross the urban sprawl to get there. Through the industrial park.
The predator's tactical mind joined with his. Shadows were his ally, his movements could be stealthy and silent, they would manage their movement into short bursts and hide if needed. There were plenty of stores and buildings to cover them. The road would be suicide. He'd have to get creative. His primal self assured him they could do this.
The deinonychus crunched in the bushes gently, scanning for human activity all the while. He turned to the path, slowly raising his feet over the edge of the brush to avoid disturbing it, and his giant talons clicked onto the hard pavement. Brendon felt the warmth of the path under his soles. His big three toed feet were shockingly sensitive through all that leather. He continuously moved and bobbed his head. Scanning. Eyes alert. If they were detected, it would spell disaster. Brendon followed the path out of the park and reached a grassy chain link fence.
Movement. Just beyond the fence, some humans were walking by on the other side of the street. The occasional car went by. No good. Too exposed. He backed into the grass and it hit him. Empty field to the southwest. A new construction near a sub division. Yards to cross. High fences. Beyond that? The industrial area. Perfect! It would be much easier that way.
The raptor slunk off completely undetected into the night, following the chain link down to the edge of the park and a large open field just at the outskirts. He easily hopped over the fence and paused. Scanning again. Nothing for about a kilometer. All clear.
