The first thing that struck Amber were the new memories. When Jeff had used the Chronivac, most were completely unaware, while some knew right away something was wrong. Amber fell into the rare third category. She knew something was wrong, while at the same time having the thoughts and memories of a new human implanted in her brain. Basically, two minds now existed inside Amber. One in the driver's seat, one a passenger.
"Now, because your humans are, shall we say, less than obedient" The corgi said, causing all the dogs to laugh at the bad joke, "Go ahead and take a moment to let them socialize. It'll burn off a little energy and make them more pliant."
"You hear that girl? Let's go say hello." Amber finally looked up at the hand holding her leash. A young golden retriever, maybe in college, smiled down at her.
'Who is this guy?' Amber thought, freezing for a moment. 'He's Daniel, my owner. I'm his pet human, I'm lucky to have-NO! I am not a pet and I am not owned by a dog!' Despite thinking this, all Amber managed to do was freeze in place for a moment, so short Daniel didn't notice. She began to pant and wagged her butt in excitement.
Her owner...err the dog named Daniel gave Amber a gentle tug, pulling her towards Jodie. As Amber was pulled, she now noticed her hair wasn't dyed and was back to being chestnut brown. Apparently Daniel didn't feel his human needed hair dye.
Amber padded over to Jodie, who almost bowled her over. Amber had memories of the two in high school together, but an instinct told her this was the first time she'd met this human. Amber sniffed Jodie's face and bear breasts. Despite Amber's best efforts, she also sniffed Jodie's labia and butt.
'Jodie is about to go into heat.' Amber thought, 'No. No human's...human's don't go into heat...right?" After a few minutes, the two were separated. The corgi teacher cleared her throat, it was time for class to begin.
