At least that was the plan.
Unlike the five before this planet put the latex futas before some issues. Those were simple planets, inhabited by one, maybe two at best, sentient races and the expected military powers that stood no chance against their perfect latex bodies.
But this planet was different, downright weird, a complete anomaly in the universe. It may seem like any other peaceful planet at first, but hiding under its surface was so, so much more. Magic, mythical beings, other alien races, super-science decades ahead of the rest of the planet, and all of that hidden from the general populace.
Their first attempt at converting this planet to the truth ended up becoming just another footnote in that statistic. Captured before they could gain too much attention and locked up deep below in some laboratory, where they ended up being examined and experimented on for the inhabitants to somehow copy their gifts for themselves, but as weapons of potential warfare and not instruments of spreading bliss. All swept under the rug. The higher ups of this planet seemed to have a natural talent for that. While unable to escape or even act, their captured sisters were at least fine and well-cared for as they constantly confirmed through the hivemind. (While they received constant messages that they're doing their best to rescue them as soon as possible and they were going to rescue them as soon as possible.)
Every time the latex futas tried to integrate another planet into their community there always were complications. Distrust at being offered immortal perfection without any catches was expectable. It was usual that they had to force planets to see their own luck. But it always ended up being worth it. The joy and pleasure as a whole planet of sisters first joined the hivemind was one of the most wonderful feelings the latex futas knew and those new sisters would always all end up regretting resisting their purity, happiness, love.
Latex futas were usually a wealth of positivity, they were (almost) incapable of feeling hatred. Though other negative emotions were still possible, even if rare. You couldn't truly appreciate happiness without occasionally feeling anger, sadness or, in this case, frustration. No planet before had resisted that much.
They still kept on watching that planet, in hopes of finding the perfect moment to strike and make them respectfully aware of their misdeeds and profoundly apologize for it. They were patient, some sisters already millenia old. Just when the hivemind considered sending some of them ahead and continue on to later return stronger, it happened. Two global almost apocalyptic events back-to-back left the veil of secrecy that the planet spent centuries carefully building up severely damaged to the point that the global leaders decided to lift it.
Such a massive paradigm shift can’t happen overnight and therefore chaos was expected to reign on this planet at least for the next few years. The perfect time for conversion to help them get over it much faster.
But time is a fickle thing. Cause and effect are always at odds with each other. Every time a decision is made, new timelines split off, each representing a different outcome.
In one of these timelines the accumulated frustration caused the latex futas to act rashly and immediately start an attention-seeking offensive. This would alert the hidden martians and cause them to counteract before they even reached their destination. It would turn this supposed invasion into a non-issue for the inhabitants of that planet, solved before it could become an issue by something even they weren't aware of.
But in this timeline, one of the sisters decided to speak up. Each opinion in the hivemind was as highly valued as all others and so the others listened. And Lindtex-9729 did make a very good point, which the sisters ended up unanimously agreeing on. Instead of making a big offensive they would try a stealthy approach. A small group of latex futas would make use of the chaos currently going on on this planet and secretly land in various strategic points across it. Not getting any attention from the inhabitants of that planet (or the martians, for that matter). There they would take their time and slowly turn the people and whatever other sentient creatures, one-by-one if necessary, into fellow latex futas until they had enough to attack from both sides and make them join their wonderful collective. Some already couldn't await what types of advancements this unique planet could contribute to the whole.
A handful of ships were sent out to that planet. Where would they land and, most importantly, who would they meet?
