Both Chelsea and Samantha had a lot of fun being Flower Girls during the Wedding. It had been so much fun to be that age that they stayed that way through the entire reception. It had been fun even though they couldn't even go near any of the 'adult' beverages. And it was strange that everyone loomed over them including the bride and groom.
As the final minutes of the Wedding's reception were happening, they found themselves a few quiet moments out of the way.
"That was so much fun." Chelsea smiled at the slightly younger redhead. "But I think it is time for me to be my normal age."
Samantha had a thought. "I could do that or we could do something slightly different."
Chelsea made a face. "It was fun being this age for a short time, not permantly."
"True, but let me try this."
"Okay."
Samantha thought about the wish for a moment. "I wish to be able to control Chelsea's age. I wish that Chelsea would have whatever knowledge she needed when she is older than thirteen. I wish to be only a week younger than Chelsea starting after the wedding." And she had a thought that she didn't really have much in the way of close family. "I wish to be Chelsea's adopted sister."
Chelsea had a look of surprise as nothing physically happened. "Really. You want to be my sister." Samantha nodded. "Yes, I've got a sister!"
"Ready Chelsea. I want Chelsea to be thirteen years old." With that the seven year old suddenly grew into her previous teenage self. Samantha breathed a sigh of relief as she became twelve even though it was an awkward stage of her life.
"Are you two ready to go?" Chelsea's mother led them outside and Samantha felt a slight shift in her height. In the car mirror, she saw she had gotten a little bit older.
In the car, Chelsea and Samantha shared a grin as they thought of ways they could use the Ring of Wishes.
