"You'll be turning into a cute little kitty cat, since you've always acted like such a precious, royal creature." Kyle said sarcastically. Jen just sighed in disgust while Kyle continued, ignoring her.
"So each time you start getting 'excited' some part of you will start getting a little more catlike. You'd best keep that in mind, I want to see how long you can last when you're actually trying."
Jen finally butted into the conversation again, now at the edge of her patience. The clock was ticking and Kyle was still rambling nonsense to her as if neither of them had to get to school very soon.
"Stuff like this is why we bully you Kyle. You're a total creep! Like, this isn't normal, get help!"
This time, Kyle just laughed; "Go ahead, play the victim all you want. I'll let you go in a second, there's just one more part to this."
Another pause.
"Lastly, people aren't exactly going to find this all normal. People don't just turn into cats after all. But don't worry, you're not getting experimented on, no no, people are going to find you changing weird the same way you found me weird all these years. Some people are going to bully you. Some will take advantage of you. Maybe, if you're lucky, someone will feel bad for you. But it sure isn't normal."
"Oh my lord! Do you ever shut up? Fuck it!" Jen slammed the phone down. She should have hung up ages ago, but something had compelled her to keep listening.
She could hear the bus making it's way up the street, and she still wasn't ready.
